Red wine.
1 bottle, 75 cl.

Original main label, intact and perfectly legible, with small moisture stains. There is slight curling and a small lift in the paper at the upper left edge. Additional 1997 vintage label, located on the shoulder, well-preserved. In good overall condition.
It comes from a private collection cellar, maintained under optimal temperature and humidity conditions.
Lavaux Saint-Jacques is one of the most renowned premiers crus of Gevrey-Chambertin, located at the northernmost edge of the appellation and characterized by its limestone soils and cool exposure. Denis Mortet was a leading figure in modern Burgundy, renowned for his Pinot Noirs of great concentration, precision, and depth. The 1997 vintage, with its generous character and relatively early maturation, may display evolved notes of ripe cherry, spices, underbrush, truffle, and earthy nuances. A particularly attractive bottle due to the producer’s reputation and the uniqueness of this climat in the Côte de Nuits.
