DESCRIPTION
Pingus, 2001. D.O. Ribera del Duero, Spain.
Red wine.
1 bottle, 75 cl.
Robert Parker / The Wine Advocate: 95/100; Vinous (Stephen Tanzer): 95/100.
Condition: IN (Into Neck). Front label complete and legible. Back label certifying origin from the Regulatory Council is complete and legible, with the notation “Vintage 2001” and serial number 395715. Silver capsule is intact, with slight surface scuffs.
From a private collection, stored under optimal temperature and humidity conditions.
The 2001 vintage belongs to the early years of Pingus, Peter Sisseck’s project linked to the old vineyards of La Horra in Ribera del Duero. With its first vintage in 1995, this wine holds a prominent place in the producer’s history and is of interest to collections focused on the great names of Spanish wine.
