The carpet, made by hand, presents a field in maroon tone with a decoration of vegetal character combined with scrolls, arranged both by the area of the central zone, whose composition adopts an oval design, to which is added a wide central band that runs around the perimeter to reach the border. This design is composed of the same decorative elements used in the central motif, to visually unify the composition.
The Sert family of Barcelona was one of the owners of the most important textile factories in the city.
