DESCRIPTION
HERMÈS
Constance 18 bag.
Anemone" calfskin leather with adjustable handle at two heights and golden hardware. The piece has a rectangular shape with a large flap ornamented with the H, emblem of the firm, as a closure of the bag in golden color. It has an interior pocket.
Includes dust cover, box and booklet.
In excellent condition, light signs of use.
Measurements: 18 x 15 x 4 cm.
The Constance line has been among the firm's priorities for more than fifty years. The bag was first designed by Catherine Chaillet in 1959 and was named in honor of her fifth daughter, Constance, who gave birth the same day the first Constance bag left the Hermes store. The Constance model has four sizes: mini, micro, 24 cm and finally Elan, which has a slightly wider shape.
The Constance stands out as an example of functionalist design within luxury: its rectangular shape optimizes interior space, the adjustable strap allows it to be worn over the shoulder or as a shoulder bag, and its precise construction reflects the high level of craftsmanship that characterizes Hermès.
Its versatility, timeless aesthetics and the iconic strength of the "H" make it a highly sought-after piece by collectors and lovers of contemporary luxury.
