The Constance line has been one of Hermès’s priorities for over fifty years. The bag was first designed by Catherine Chaillet in 1959 and was named in honor of her fifth daughter, Constance, who was born on the same day that the first Constance bag left the Hermès store. The Constance model comes in four sizes: mini, micro, 24 cm, and finally, Elan, which has a slightly wider shape.
