Egyptian figure in bronze that represents a masculine personage in frontal attitude, with the arms crossed on the chest, following a scheme of great rigidity and symmetry characteristic of the Egyptian art. The head is covered with a tight headdress, possibly linked to divine or Osirian representations.

This type of sculptures, made in small format, were part of votive or funerary contexts, deposited in temples or tombs as offerings to ensure the protection and permanence of the individual in the afterlife.

The piece responds to the standardized models of the Low Period, a period in which formal archetypes of older tradition are recovered and fixed, with a deliberately archaizing language. The surface has a dark patina with greenish hues, typical of the alteration of bronze over time.
