Monumental piece of Chinese manufacture. The carving in pink marble of this sculptural fountain reproduces with virtuosity four dragons with large open jaws and scaled body surrounding the base. Between the dragons a delicate filigree vegetal work is developed. On their heads rests the basin, which opens like a flower with differentiated petals. Foliated moldings alternate with vegetal fretwork carved in bas-relief and the whole is crowned by a pinnacle with a bulbous base.
