Enameled porcelain with overgilding.
Presents a hair.
Measurements: 9 x 8,5 x 8,5 cm.
The piece reflects the formal perfection typical of the Kangxi period: delicate walls, balanced proportions and a decoration of great clarity. Historically, this type of cup circulated in areas of high prestige, select collections, diplomatic exchanges and ceremonial uses, and played a key role in the international projection of Chinese porcelain as one of the great artistic expressions of the Far East.
