José Ivars Villlonga, an outstanding painter, graduated in Fine Arts at the Polytechnic University of Valencia in 1979 and since 1982 he has worked as a high school professor by open competition. His artistic work is unique and versatile, fusing diverse influences. His deep connection with cinema stands out, perceptible in his distinctive style. His paintings cover a wide range of subjects, with an emphasis on swimming pools, fish tanks and typography, evoking nostalgia and serenity.
Throughout his career, he has exhibited in various galleries and cultural spaces, including the Pego Gallery in Alicante, the cultural hall of the Cullera Town Hall, the Punt i Ratya Gallery in Valencia, the Palau de la Música in Valencia, the Museo de la Ciudad de Benicarló in Castellón and the Vangar Gallery in Valencia. His legacy endures with permanent work in the rectorate of the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
