Cristina Duclós developed most of her career in Madrid, standing out as a painter, sculptor and draftswoman with more than four decades of experience. Her work is characterized by the intense use of color and light, with a strong inspiration in nature -especially flowers, insects and still lifes-, which earned her international recognition and exhibitions in cities such as London, Paris or New York, being considered by critics as the "queen of the exotic still life".
