Chair designed by Boris Tabacoff in 1970, in which the legacy of the Space Age aesthetics can be appreciated. Comfortable and elegant, it has a hoop base attached to a curved foot that opens in an arc to accommodate the spherical seat in smoked plexiglass. Tabacoff pioneered the use of plexiglass in his mid-century and later furniture.
Boris Tabacoff was a Bulgarian designer. He was the first designer at the Ecole de Paris after the war to create furniture and objects in plexiglass. Creator of Cardin Plexiglas furniture. Design de Cardin. He was very present in the art magazines of the 1960s and 1970s thanks to Cardin's use of plexiglass for the edition of Cardin bathtubs, chairs, tables and clocks, as well as all kinds of prestigious desks in plexiglass. His unique and original designs include: La table Menorah, I, La Table Menorah 2, La Table Forest, The Spider Armchair, The Roman Armchair.
