Chromed metal frame, methacrylate details.
Black leather upholstery.
Measurements: 75 x 60 x 50 cm.
Set of four chairs designed by Hans Könecke. Of timeless and elegant concept, these chairs of the firm Tecta are faithful heirs of the modern movement. In the 1960s and 1970s, Hans Könecke produced a contemporary furniture program under the Tecta brand with a large number of his own designs. In 1972, Werner and Axel Bruchhäuser took over the company and reorganized it.
Architect Hans Könecke designed several pieces of furniture for DK Muebles in his studio in Caracas (Venezuela), among them the D49 desk and the conference chair. The first series production took place after Könecke founded TECTA in Lauenförde in the late 1950s. Tecta continues to manufacture the elegant D49 in its own workshops in Lauenförde.
