Sophisticated table model Theorema, a piece of Italian design conceived around 1979 by the famous trio of architects Jonathan De Pas, Donato D'Urbino and Paolo Lomazzi for BBB Emmebonacina. This piece represents the culmination of functional and transformable design, a concept that the designers explored to solve the needs of the contemporary habitat with elegance and technical rigor. The structure, executed in natural beech wood, stands out for an ingenious engineering system: the outer legs orbit around the central axis to support the extensions of the top, allowing a fluid and sculptural transition of the surface. The top, finished in an impeccable white laminate, brings a minimalist luminosity that contrasts harmoniously with the organic warmth and grain of the beech wood.
Historically known as the table with "a thousand faces", the "Theorema" is a testament to the visual language of the late 1970s, where versatility is elevated to the category of art. Its timeless design and complex simplicity make it a versatile piece, capable of defining the personality of any interior space.
This piece is presented in an extraordinary state of preservation: "New Old Stock" quality. To find a piece of this age and historical relevance in factory condition is an absolute rarity in today's market, making it a unique opportunity for investors and collectors of radical Italian design.
