Following the designer's own words; "Mushroom is a table and floor lamp, with colors designed to diffuse a pleasant light". The Mushroom table lamp creates a strong focal point on a side table or in a window.
Matti Klenell was born in Gothenburg and currently lives and works in Stockholm. He trained at Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Design. In 2000 he founded Matti Klenell Studio. Between 2000 and 2006, Klenell was director of the design program at Beckmans College of Design. His work is in the collections of several museums, including the National Museum of Fine Arts. Klenell was awarded the prestigious Ljunggren Prize in 2003.
