Sculpture of animalistic theme in patinated bronze representing a pheasant and a partridge of realistic workmanship.
The sculptor Anton Buschelberger was formed in the Academy of Art of Munich and later he settled down in Munich. There he specialized in the production of realistic animal sculptures in bronze, based on animal models from the city zoo, often in the typical Art Nouveau style.
