This work is part of Mallo's maturity, when his sculpture is situated between expressive figuration and abstraction, in dialogue with the Mediterranean tradition and with the post-war European currents. The small format concentrates the sculptural power in an intimate object.

Mallo is represented in the Eduardo Capa Foundation, the Caixa Galicia, the Spanish Museum of Contemporary Art in Madrid and other collections, both public and private, and also has important public monuments in Madrid.
