Sculpture of great expressive load characteristic of the language of Antonio Campillo, in which the feminine figure appears captured in a moment of introspection, with a marked inclination of the body that accentuates its intimate and contained character.

Trained at the School of Fine Arts in Murcia and a disciple of Juan González Moreno, he furthered his studies at the School of San Fernando in Madrid. He developed an outstanding teaching work as a professor in the Schools of Applied Arts of Cordoba and Madrid, and obtained several awards since the beginning of his career. His work is preserved in private collections and institutions such as the Open Air Museum of Ceutí or the museum dedicated to the artist in that town.
