This piece stands out for the expressive use of wood, whose veins, cuts and irregularities are actively incorporated into the plastic language. The polychrome areas provide a poetic and artisanal dimension, while the assembled structure introduces a sense of movement and fragility. The work combines face, body, wings and constructive elements in a vertical composition, where the materials retain the trace of their origin and are integrated into an image between the human and the symbolic.

Rodrigo García Huetos is an artist from Alcarria, Spain, born in Gualda, Guadalajara, in 1948. A former teacher, he has developed a career focused on painting, collage, assemblage and sculpture, with special attention to color, texture and expressiveness of materials. He has exhibited in various spaces, including the Francisco Sobrino Museum in Guadalajara.
