Juan Bufill has been interested in art from very different facets and aspects. Since 1975 he has devoted himself primarily to poetry, although he has also worked in photography, film, video and television, as well as in art criticism and cultural journalism. His photographic work tends towards abstraction and he is especially interested in the incidence of light and its decomposition, which reveals, in some way, the existence of energy and matter and the flow of time. He has held several group and solo exhibitions in galleries such as Amparo Gámir, in Madrid, Àmbit, in Barcelona, Greca Art Contemporani, also in Barcelona or, in the same city, at the Centre d'Art Santa Mònica.
