Spanish photographer, he began in 1971 an independent career in photojournalism that places him among those who documented the social movements against Franco's regime in its last years, spreading his reports abroad through the CIS agency due to censorship in Spain; he achieved special recognition in 1976 for his photographs, widely published in the international press, of a police charge during a peaceful demonstration in Barcelona in the middle of the Transition, work for which he received the photography award from the magazine Flash-Foto; He continued to work as a photojournalist with projects in different countries until, in the early eighties, an accident forced him to abandon active photojournalism, at which time he diversified his practice towards architectural photography and author photography, combining it with lecturing at universities.
