Ixone Sádaba's work combines photography, installation and performance to explore themes such as identity, violence and the limits of the individual. Trained in Fine Arts in the Basque Country and with studies in Madrid, New York and London, her work is characterized by creating "political scenarios" and intense representations of the human body as a space of conflict, and has been exhibited in major international institutions such as the Reina Sofia Museum, the Guggenheim in Bilbao or museums in Toronto and New Orleans, in addition to receiving awards such as the Generations for her project La nuit américaine, consolidating herself as a leading figure in contemporary art today.
