19th century Russian Orthodox pendant.
Silver, cloisonné enamels and gemstone cabochons.
Silver hallmark 84. Maker's mark H3, probably by Nicholas Zugeryev, Moscau 1898-1914.
Cracks and some small enamel losses. One red gem is missing.
Measurements: 11,5 x 7,5 cm.
Orthodox pendant with an oval medallion depicting a relief image of the Panagia Mother of God holding the Infant Jesus in the center, covered with cloisonné enamel in white, green and blue colors, set with red gemstone cabochons and decorated with a pendant at the bottom. On the reverse is an engraved image depicting the Mother of God in a church.
