Facsimile edition of Noticia del primer viaje en torno al mundo, the famous account by the Venetian navigator Antonio Pigafetta of the Magellan-Elcano expedition, considered one of the founding documents of travel literature. This Italian edition was published in 1998 by Neri Pozza Editore (Vicenza), faithfully reproducing the original manuscript preserved in the Biblioteca Ambrosiana in Milan. It includes a biographical and literary study by Mario Pozzi, together with the corresponding translation.
