Pere Salsas y Trillas was a Catalan priest. Born in La Llagonne (La Llaguna), currently in the French department of the Eastern Pyrenees, in the Upper Cerdanya, doctor in theology and bachelor in canons by the University of Cervera, rector of the parish church of Santa Maria de Llivia in the bishopric of Urgel, later pleban of Pons and examiner and synodal visitator of the same bishopric, he was the author of a celebrated prontuario for preachers published in five volumes, the Promptuari moral sagrat y cathecisme pastoral de platicas doctrinals y espirituals sobre tots los punts de la doctrina christiana, Barcelona, Estampa de Teresa Piferrer, 1754-1757.
