Elegant ceiling lamp made by Le Verre Français around 1930, belonging to the "Butterflies" model. Executed in blown glass and decorated with a frieze of stylized lepidoptera in vibrant red on an opalescent background, it combines the ornamental dynamism inherited from Art Nouveau with the formal synthesis of Art Deco. The nickel-plated bronze frame, with its refined lines, underlines its modernity. A representative example of Charles Schneider's mature production, where color and design are integrated in a luminous and decorative composition of great visual impact.
