This 49 c.c. EMTISA moped was manufactured in the early 1970s based on Guzzi Hispania models. The bike has a sporty, youthful look, with a white fuel tank, red frame and fenders, a black bench seat, spoked wheels, exposed suspension, and a high-mounted exhaust. Its design reflects the style of lightweight, country-inspired mopeds that were very popular in Spain during the 1970s.

EMTISA stands for Estampaciones Metálicas y Transformados Industriales, S.A., a Barcelona-based company historically linked to the manufacture of automotive components and stretcher frames. In this context, it produced replicas or short production runs inspired by Guzzi Hispania models, using small-displacement engines and design features typical of late postwar Spanish mopeds.

This example retains a very attractive appearance due to the contrast between the white fuel tank, the red frame, and the chrome accents. Displayed on a metal stand and without a license plate, it also holds value as a display and collector’s item, particularly well-suited for classic motorcycle collections, themed spaces, or interiors associated with vintage industrial design.
