Political or propaganda poster from the time of the Second Spanish Republic. The poster uses the Catalan language and its central message is a call to vote. The main text says: "LA LLEI DE CONREUS ASSAGURAVA LA VOSTRA VELLESA" (The Law of Contracts of Cultivation assured your old age). "RECONQUISTEU-LA AMB EL VOT!" (Reconquer it with the vote). The Law of Cultivation Contracts (Llei de Contractes de Conreu) was a law passed by the Parliament of Catalonia in 1934 that sought to resolve conflicts between landowners and tenant farmers.
