Nelson Domínguez was formed in San Alejandro Academy of Plastic Arts and in the Superior Institute of Art of Havana where he has been professor and head of the Department of Painting. He has been part of tribunals in several national and international contests and he is the winner of the National Prize of Plastic Arts of Cuba. He is a member of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC) and the International Association of Plastic Artists (AIAP). He has had more than one hundred individual exhibitions and has participated in art fairs and auctions in Cuba and in many countries of all continents. His works can be found in Cuba, Japan, Mexico, France, United States, England, Holland, India, Malaysia, Panama, Brazil, Colombia, etc...
