This print, with a very small print run, belongs to the first years of Jaume Plensa's graphic research. It is a stage in which the artist develops a formal vocabulary based on geometric structures and signs of almost constructivist appearance.

The composition is organized vertically around a totemic central figure. The balance between mass and lightness generates a sense of suspension, characteristic of Plensa's early interest in the relationship between body, structure and gravity.

Jaume Plensa has had an extensive international career, with outstanding exhibitions such as the retrospective held at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in 2000.

He has received important awards, including the National Plastic Arts Award from the Generalitat de Catalunya and the Medal of Knight of Arts and Letters from the French Ministry of Culture. His work is part of important international collections and museums such as the MoMA in New York, the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid and the MACBA in Barcelona.
