VICENTE BORRÁS ABELLA (Valencia, 1867 - Barcelona, 1945)

Measurements: 68 x 100 cm.
He was a professor at the School of Fine Arts in Barcelona. He began his training with his father, also a painter Vicente Borrás y Mompó. He participated in numerous exhibitions and contests, he obtained third medals in the National ones of 1890 and 1892, second in 1897 for the canvas titled ¡Absueltos! and decoration in the edition of 1895. He was also awarded a second medal at the Universal Exposition of Paris in 1900. His works are characterized by their strong luminosity and vibrant chromatism.
