Painter, illustrator and engraver, Ramon Rogent started painting encouraged by Rafael Llimona, during the Civil War, and between 1938 and 1939 he lived in France. Upon his return, he held his first exhibition in Madrid in 1941, and the following year he presented his work in Barcelona. He also held exhibitions in Portugal, Paris, London, Pittsburg and Milan. In Barcelona he was part of the Lais group and participated assiduously in the October Salons, as well as in the May Salon in its 1957 and 1958 editions. He is currently represented in the Lisbon Museum, the Vila Casas Collection and other collections, both public and private.
