The painter Carlos Sempere, although originally from Valencia, moved to Asturias in 1978, captivated by the beauty of its natural environment. After a period of training in his youth and working as a copyist at the Prado Museum, he chose to focus his career on outdoor landscape painting. His career includes exhibitions in galleries in cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, Valladolid, Oviedo, León and Cairo, and his work is part of institutional collections such as the Diputación de Alicante and the Museo de Moros y Cristianos de Alcoy, as well as private collections in Spain, Belgium, Japan, England and South America.
