Graduated in Philosophy and Theology, Jaume Ribas studied art at the Eina School in Barcelona. He made his debut at the gallery La Tralla in Vic in 1980, and during the nineties he worked between Barcelona and Berlin, as well as holding several exhibitions in Germany and Switzerland. He is currently represented in several galleries in Berlin, Dusseldorf, Basel, Barcelona and Madrid. His works are part of the collections of La Caixa, the National Museum of Art of Catalonia and the graphic sections of the British Museum and the Los Angeles Museum.
