Since his beginnings, Albert Gonzalo has been fascinated by the East, always his source of inspiration. He first became interested in Sufi philosophy, which opened the door to Islamic thought. Within this dynamic, Gonzalo has shown his work in Asian contemporary art museums, and has taken part in several group exhibitions in Japan, Taiwan and South Korea. He also had a solo exhibition at the Nagoya University of Arts (Japan) in 2005. His paintings are the plastic expression of the link he has established between all the thoughts and images of oriental cultures that he has been processing throughout his life, uniting everything that fascinates him.
