In Tacones, Jordi Machí concentrates the energy of the figure in a fragmented and vibrant frame, where the body appears crossed by diagonals, planes of color and a gesture of great intensity. The motif of the high-heeled shoe functions as a sign of elegance, desire and movement, but also as a point of plastic tension within a deliberately dynamic composition.

The acid green background provides an immediate visual force and turns the scene into an almost electric space, on which reds, pinks, blacks, yellows and turquoises unfold. Machí works the anatomy from fragmentation and pictorial impulse, building an image where the body is not described literally, but as a sum of rhythm, color and emotion.

Jordi Machí is a Spanish visual artist with a degree in Fine Arts from the Universitat Politècnica de València, with training also at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia and the Universidade de São Paulo. His language explores the intersection between imagination, emotional memory and popular culture, giving rise to compositions with a strong narrative and symbolic charge. After initiating an international projection from his exhibitions in Lebanon, his work has been presented in Europe, Brazil, United States, Mexico and Asia.

His recent solo exhibitions include Jordi Machí at Casa de Vacas, Parque del Retiro, Madrid (2020), Amor Líquido at Fundación Ibero-América with MADO, Madrid (2022), The Fing Tomorrow** at Galería Cuatro, Valencia (2023), Geometría del Alma at Galería Cuatro, Valencia (2025), and Villa Esperanza at ACE Hotel Swimming Club, Athens (2026). He has also participated in fairs and group exhibitions such as ARTMADRID and Estampa in Madrid, One Art Fair in Taipei, AART FAIR in Shenzhen and RARO with Lucie Chang Fine Arts in Hong Kong.
