French portico clock with trim, made around 1900, consisting of a central clock and a pair of ornamental cups. It features a neoclassical architectural structure, with truncated conical columns in reddish-veined marble and gilded bronze mounts, combining the decorative lightness of the metal with the chromatic presence of the marble.

The central case is arranged in a symmetrical design, crowned by two facing birds within a floral wreath. The enameled dial, with Arabic numerals, is framed by a gilded bronze border, while the pendulum is topped by a radiant sun, a motif with clear allegorical resonance. The decoration of garlands, scrolls, and plant motifs reinforces the ornamental character of the ensemble.

The side pieces, designed as decorative cups or vases on pedestals, feature the same combination of marble and gilded bronze. This type of set was common in bourgeois interiors of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, especially atop fireplaces, sideboards, or console tables.
