Delft ceramics, typical of the manufactures of this city in the Netherlands, are characterized by the use of blue and white, generally hand-painted. Delft's production was refined at the end of the 19th century, when white porcelain replaced the red clay used until then, and it specialized in tiles, vases, glasses and plates, mainly adorned with typically Dutch landscapes, especially seascapes and mountains. Traditional lowland plains with mills and canals. In this case the vase is profusely decorated following vegetal and floral patterns.
