This sculpture in cut glass is distinguished by its organic and naturalistic aspect, reminding in its form to the marine algae. The translucent glass combines in a superb way the earthy and blue tonalities alluding considerably to the marine bottom.
Barcelona sculptor specializing in glass work, Daniel Barberán showed his work both in Spain and Brazil, especially highlighting its presence in the Salão Paulista de Belas Artes de São Paulo in 1952. Already in his last stage, it is worth mentioning for its importance the solo exhibition held in 1981 at the Dau al Set gallery in Barcelona.
