This watercolor reveals a particularly lyrical side of Luis Feito, a departure from the material density of his Informalist works and focused on the fluidity of color. The composition is structured around suspended organic forms, where shades of pink, orange, and violet gently spread across the paper.

Luis Feito was a key figure in postwar Spanish abstraction and a founding member of the El Paso group in 1957. Trained at the San Fernando School of Fine Arts, he lived for years in Paris, where he came into contact with European Informalism. His work is represented in the Reina Sofía Museum, the Museum of Spanish Abstract Art in Cuenca, the Guggenheim Museum in New York, and other international collections.
