The circular base and tall shaft of this exquisite lamp designed by Carlo Scarpa for Venini is distinguished by its delicately achieved sogueado character. It is a creation entirely made of transparent Murano glass that evidences the savoir faire of Italian designers.
Carlo Scarpa is considered one of the great Italian designers worldwide, occupying a key position in the evolution of Italian design. Currently, Scarpa's unique pieces of design and furniture can be found at auctions such as Christie's, obtaining auctions as relevant as "An Easel", a unique easel that reached 170000 euros in 2018 or "A vitrine on Stand", unique vitrine that reached 230000 euros auction that same year.
