The table is a striking example of Modernist furniture, particularly evident in the sculptural design of its base, which consists of openwork supports with organic profiles, taut curves, and sinuous lines reminiscent of plants. The crisscrossing crossbars intensify the structure’s dynamism and create a characteristic interplay of solids and voids. In contrast to the formal richness of the frame, the rectangular tabletop with rounded corners maintains a sober and functional presence. The extendable system, featuring two extension leaves that can be incorporated into the central section, allows the surface area to be significantly expanded without disrupting the harmony of the piece.
