Set consisting of a two-seater sofa and a three-seater sofa in Danish mid-century style, both with orange and brown striped upholstery. It is an Illum Wikkelsø design and manufactured by N. Eilersen, characterized by a structure in solid teak wood of refined forms, light and reduced to its essence, combining straight lines with simple indentations in the armrests.
Illum Wikkelsø was one of the most renowned Danish designers, despite being one of the least known. It is known that he graduated from the Copenhagen School of Arts and Crafts, and that he worked for Jacob Kjaer and for the architectural firm of Peter Hvidt and Orla Molgaard-Nielso, where he left his mark on Danish furniture design, which went on to spread worldwide.
