The Tolomeo lamp, in its different versions, meant success for the tandem of designers Fassina and Lucchi.
This pair of articulated wall sconces produced by Artemide, with adjustable diffuser, were conceived to offer direct and functional lighting. The model is recognized for its balance between technical innovation, light industrial aesthetics and versatility of use, ideal for reading or working.
De Lucchi graduated as an architect in Florence in 1975. He has designed lamps and other objects for major Italian and European brands and has designed and restructured buildings for important companies such as Deutsche Bank, Novartis and Poste Italiane. Fassina, on the other hand, trained in architecture in Milan, his hometown. Throughout his career as a designer, he has focused his attention on lamps and furniture.
