David Marshall is a sculptor and designer of international renown who eventually adopted Spanish nationality and developed much of his career in Spain. His work is distinguished by an expressive use of metals such as brass, aluminum and bronze, materials with which he has managed to consolidate his own artistic identity within the field of contemporary design and sculpture.
In 1965, Marshall moved to Spain, a decisive change that would mark the course of his career. It was there that he began to shape his first sculptures, initiating a trajectory that would soon evolve into a constant and diverse production. From the late 1960s, around 1968, his work expanded beyond sculpture to include interior design and the creation of decorative objects. Over time, David Marshall has managed to consolidate a recognizable style, characterized by the fusion of functionality and artistic expression.
