Interesting set of seven table lamps of Danish production, characterized by its marked verticality and its formal purification. The structure, resolved by means of parallel metallic planes in bronze, generates an architectural rhythm of great visual force, while the upper part incorporates small diffusers that contribute lightness to the set. The design combines rigorous geometric elements with subtle decorative details, giving rise to a sober but highly expressive aesthetic.
These pieces reflect the transition of Scandinavian design from more decorative approaches to a progressively functionalist language, where structural clarity and material honesty take center stage. The firm Fog & Mørup, founded in 1904, was one of the leading Danish lighting houses of the 20th century, collaborating with leading designers and making a decisive contribution to the development of modern Nordic design.
