The pair of Chester Moon armchairs belongs to one of Baxter's most recognizable models and one of the most successful contemporary reinterpretations of the Chesterfield. Designed by Paola Navone in 2009, they preserve the memory of the traditional capitonné, but transfer it to a low, enveloping piece with a resounding volume, where the continuous upholstery completely defines the presence of the seat.
The interest of the whole lies in the combination of signature design, craftsmanship and great decorative strength. The capitonné covers the seat, backrest, armrests and exterior, allowing the armchairs to be arranged free-standing and to be appreciated from all angles.

Paola Navone is one of the most renowned figures in Italian design today. Architect, designer and artistic director, she has developed a career marked by the free revision of traditional typologies, the expressive use of materials and a cosmopolitan sensibility that combines craftsmanship, comfort and informal sophistication. Her collaboration with Baxter, a firm founded in 1990 in the Italian district of Brianza, has given rise to some of the brand's most identifiable pieces. Baxter has established itself internationally as a benchmark for luxury upholstered furniture, especially for the quality of its leathers, craftsmanship and its ability to unite signature design and Italian leather tradition.
