DESCRIPTION
Pair of armchairs from the 60s.
Oak wood and bulrush.
Measurements. 64 x 70 x 76 cm, 27 cm (seat height).
This is a pair of armchairs made of oak wood, with a structure of straight lines and low proportions that emphasize its architectural character. The arms, wide and horizontal, are integrated into an open frame that clearly shows the constructive logic of the piece and makes us think of its resemblance to or inspiration from the Safari chair typology. The seat and backrest, in woven bulrush, provide a warm, organic texture that contrasts with the geometric rigidity of the structure. The slightly sloping backrest and deep seat reinforce its vocation for comfort.
The set conveys a sober, honest and functional aesthetic, fully representative of the mid-century spirit, where traditional craftsmanship and modernity coexist in balance.
