DESCRIPTION
GEORGE COSLIN (Italy, 20th century) for 3V.
Chest of drawers, 1967.
Combined woods (rosewood and light wood). Lacquered metal.
Very good overall condition. Minimal wear, practically in excellent condition.
Measurements: 75 x 126 x 51 cm.
Piece conceived in combined woods, where the front veneered in rosewood, of intense and expressive grain, contrasts with the lightness of the light wood frame. Its design is organized in a symmetrical composition of six drawers, each topped with circular metal handles, a distinctive detail of Italian design of the period. It rests on slender cylindrical legs in lacquered metal, which reinforce its light and balanced character. The set conveys a sober and functional elegance, fully representative of modern Italian furniture of the sixties, in line with 3V's productions.
