Game table designed by Pierluigi Molinari for Pozzi in the 1970s, conceived for bridge, cards and poker. The piece is representative of Italian design of the period for its combination of functionality, playfulness and innovative structural solutions.
Made of black lacquered wood, it has a square tabletop with a central green felt mat. Particularly noteworthy is the design of its legs, conceived as rotating volumes that allow the discovery of storage compartments for each user, destined for games, cards or bottles. This solution ingeniously integrates practical use within a structure with a strong formal presence.
With its emphatic lines and seventies aesthetics, the piece combines versatility, design and scenographic sense. Molinari, trained at the Liceo Artistico and the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, has been working as a professional designer since 1961, working in fields as diverse as domestic, office and school furniture, as well as public equipment, urban design and industrial architecture.
