Dining table "Mugello", 1987.
Lacquered iron structure with leather-covered aluminum legs.
Transparent glass top.
Very good condition.
Measurements: 72 x 200 x 100 cm.
Dining table model "Mugello", designed by Lodovico Acerbis and Giotto Stoppino for Acerbis International in 1987. It combines constructive solidity and visual lightness, allowing to appreciate the geometric composition of the base through the glass.
For the quality of its materials and the elegance of its proportions, the table is fully in line with the Italian designer furniture of the late 1980s, where functionality, technical refinement and sculptural presence are integrated with great balance.
Lodovico Acerbis joined the family business, founded in 1870 as a carpentry workshop, in 1963, driving its transformation into a reference firm through the use of advanced technologies and high quality materials. Giotto Stoppino, architect, urban planner and designer, was a key figure in Italian design in the second half of the 20th century, three-time Compasso d'Oro winner and collaborator with firms such as Acerbis, Kartell, Arteluce, Bernini, Calligaris and Driade.
